For everyday frocks, 100% cotton is the most comfortable because it absorbs sweat in the heat. For party frocks with tulle or lace, check that the part touching the skin is soft fabric, or it may itch after a few hours.
Chest and length matter most for frocks. Measure your child's height and match it to our size guide; if between sizes, take the larger one. A party dress bought a little big can be worn at the next event too.
